Alan Peters is a freelance writer in Buckinghamshire. He trained with the National College for Journalists and writes on a variety of subjects for a number of clients. Having worked in various fields including care services, education, training and retail he made the decision to commit full time to writing, and is now ‘living his dream’.
With a portfolio of plays, a couple of novels, several e-books and numerous articles and blogs under his belt, he also provides consultancy work in the field of writing.
He caught the writing bug after being commissioned to produce a screenplay. The film was never made, but the lure of lights, fame, glamour and free tickets to the cinema changed him forever.
He enjoys sport, especially football but any will do, theatre, good beer, politics and spending time with his family. He once played Eton Fives against the world champion…and didn’t win a point.
